Keep that in mind, if you are able, as you consider that what had actually gone wrong in this case was that a lady had had a parking bay painted around her car while she had popped into the hairdressers. A piece of road that had had no restrictions when she’d parked on it had become restricted to disabled drivers while her hair was under the dryer, and she’d been fined £60.
The fact that her car had been spattered with paint in this process is but a minor detail.
